The Children’s House began life in a converted barn in Stallingborough before moving to its purpose-built nursery in 2003.
The new environment was created around a simple belief: children and childhood should be valued, and young children deserve high-quality spaces and experiences in which they can feel comfortable, confident and inspired to learn.
Our nursery includes light and airy rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school children, alongside shared spaces that support learning, creativity and everyday nursery life.
Features such as child-height windows help children connect naturally with their surroundings, while carefully organised spaces give them opportunities to move, choose, explore and become increasingly independent.

Indoor & Outdoor Connections
Opportunities for children to experience learning beyond the classroom.
Every stage of early childhood brings different needs, interests and opportunities. Our nursery provides dedicated environments for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.

A calm and nurturing environment where our youngest children can feel secure, explore through their senses and develop at their own pace.

A stimulating environment supporting movement, communication, curiosity and growing independence.

An engaging Montessori environment where children can explore ideas, develop confidence and prepare for the next stage of learning.
Outdoor experiences are an important part of nursery life. Children have opportunities to spend time outdoors, explore nature, develop physical skills and learn through active, hands-on experiences.
Our outdoor provision includes areas for exploration, imaginative play, construction, sand and water experiences, as well as opportunities to observe and care for the natural world.
